I think goals need to be set, but should not be made unreachable. Goals should be kept simple and yet set high enough that one must work to reach it. When things seem to be out of hand, sit down and think it over. Although, there comes a time when the child must make his own goals, the parents should encourage him to set goals until that time comes.
