Beowulf is a poem with stirring history. Its origin is the warrior-prince legend, which developed in Germany during prehistoric, pre-Christian times. In my opinion, even though the poet disapproves warrior society in some cases, in the whole he shows his positive attitude toward this people. He really admires Anglo-Saxon society, showing his great respect to the values represented by warriors.
