For many readers (myself included), the "drama" of the discovery of Malcolm's conversion from the NOI to traditional Islam that Haley alludes to on page 429 of the Epilogue, is already spoiled, so it's okay for the Foreword to affirm the explicit Orthodox message of Malcolm's later days.
