have greatly improved his book by not putting so much time into insignificant parts. Without that setback, I don't think it would have been all that bad. Although this novel certainly couldn't be marked as a "page-turner", it did have an interesting story line and plot. If you enjoy reading about geography and have some spare time on your hands, Around the World in Eighty Days would be a great book for you to read.
