Ant Attack When younger, I despised bugs of any kind. Although the common ant seemed harmless, this bug too I believed should face death upon my sight. …the insects just cause annoyance, inconvenience, and trouble. Seeing the ant rescuing his friend that summer day over ten years ago remains a very touching memory. It made the insect seem more human like than I ever imagined. Though I still feel guilty for killing that particular ant, as a collective class, they remain a real nuisance.
