…up with her studies, and makes the best of a horrible situation. I am glad that Anne's story is a part of learning in school. I know we read the play in high school and I do remember reading parts of the book as well in both high school and middle school. I think it's so important to learn about our history so that we do not have to repeat the mistakes of the past.
