Many, however, fought the idea of there being anything different and instead grabbed hold of the traditional teaching and beliefs they were raised on. During this period, many artist struggled with their thoughts and perceptions of God and how He should be portrayed. There is such a large variety of art during the hole of the Renaissance that no one artist can be overlooked.
