The airline industry has seen better days since the September 11th attack on the United States. The overall business environment of American Airlines has suffered tremendously since the attacks. On September 11th, two American flights were hijacked. Flight 11 carrying 81 passengers, 9 flight attendants, and 2 pilots crashed into tower one of the world trade center.
