You'll only see this movie if you like the book and then you'll probably be disappointed. The roughness, browns and greys reproduce the sentiment Orwell created. 1984 the movie is a dark and edgy romantic thriller that ends in either tragedy or bliss depending on how you interpret Winston's numb acceptance of the truth that everyone would think is a lie.
