A School of a Different Color It was a cold January morning, as the jet liner I was riding landed in Louisville, Kentucky. Immediately upon exiting the plane, I saw a nice young soldier holding a sign that said "Private Robert J Jones," so normally I went up to him and politely said, "I am Private Robert Jones." was and what my limitations, both physically and mentally were. At graduation they played Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA," and there wasn't a dry eye in the platoon. These boys who turned into men, with only the thought of killing the enemy, were all crying at graduation. I sometimes still tear up when I hear that song. I am proud to serve in the U.S. Military; someone has to, because freedom isn't free.
