…the colonists sent a petition to the king. The king and his severely tested patience objected it and labeled the people of the colonies, traitors. This impatience of the mother country started more and more friction between the colonies and England. As one can see, the revolution of the colonies did not happen over night or over one single happening. It took many years of annoying laws, neglect, and impatience to trigger this great revolution.
