…in society. No matter what the situation, whenever there is sudden change, there are always some people who meet it with firm resistance. We see this through the censorship of movies and the criticism of tabloids. However, the amount of change that took place is far greater than the conservatives of the time. America during the 1920's is more accurately portrayed when referred to as the "roaring twenties" than an age of primitivism and conservatism.
