Slavery as an Institution I believe that slavery is wrong and it is wrong but back in the 1800’s the economy needed slavery. Finally the northern states started to figure that out only because they no longer used slaves because they were business people. So they told the southern states it was wrong but they didn’t like that. The only way that slavery was ended was after a war of five years. Then most people knew slavery was bad.
