Christian Symbolism
It is often said that Jesus lives inside all of us. Sometimes this is hard to believe, almost impossible, however Ken Kesey shows through his character R. P. McMurphy is a symbol for Christ as he tries to free the patients of the combine from Big Nurse’s control.
