…just wanted some company because she was so alone since she didn’t like her husband. Her flirting with everyone, I think was the only way she actually knew how to get somebody’s attention so she could talk with someone. So finally, I feel that Curley’s wife was just a very lonely young woman who wanted some attention and happiness to keep her busy from thinking of broken dreams of a better life.
