I stood at the doorway of the Boing747 jumbo jet, unsure that I even wanted to enter. …showed last 75 words of 1085 total…she was sneering at me, but smiling. People here always made me feel comfortable. After sitting down and eating my lunch, I finally got a chance to take a rest. Watching people passing by me outside of the window, I thought, everyone had been so kind to me, but I couldn’t imagine then the many difficulties I was to encounter later in this foreign land. America was not the utopia. I thought it was!
