The issue of year-around schools has been a topic of discussion for some time now. Supports for the idea believe that students who have long periods of no school tend to be forget-full of their previous knowledge. In conclusion, supporters believe that year-around schooling contributes to academic excellence. However, it is my contention that year-around schooling actually has an adverse affect making school tedious, thus affecting the academic potential of students. Furthermore, it takes away from the lives of teenagers, and also the teachers.
