Violence in schools has become an increasing problem throughout the nation in the last few years. This has caused many problems among students, families, faculty, and residents that populate the surrounding area. However, there are a variety of possible ways that we can stop all this violence in our schools, a variety of laws have been passed, the most common of which is the “zero tolerance” law. that is mentally disturbed is not helped by just getting suspended from school of serving a short jail sentence, this only deposits more anger into the student, thus causing further damage to the student and all that have contact with the student. Zero tolerance is a small step in the right direction, but it cannot accomplish the task of stopping violence in schools by itself, other things need to happen to make violence a minimum.
