and serves. This may be a selfish way to look at the situation, but people must see the situation as it is. There is another positive from this. Perhaps, due to the United States having used the bomb, the world saw how destructive and horrible the atomic bomb is. This made, and still makes, countries very reluctant to use atomic the bomb. Nevertheless, the bomb was used, lives were saved, and the war was ended.
