anymore? Will playwrights stop preferring particular races for particular roles they write about? As our society pressures us to change to a “colorblind” society our literature, plays, and films must change with it. I can only speculate on how race may be expressed in writing in the future, but I believe it will simply come to not acknowledging the differences between races of characters; instead focusing on the human race as one and defining race.
