…of been there to keep all the leaders of the new world in an open minded state. Jefferson is a great leader because he understood underlying concepts to debates and problems. He always seems to find the reality in what America really is and what we should stand for. He looked beyond his beliefs and into the beliefs and actions of other arising from confrontation and disagreement. We need another Thomas Jefferson for our century.
