…showed last 75 words of 603 total…formation is an example of black shale. Unlike the previous rocks, this formation in siliciclastic because it responds to acid. It is a darker gray than previously seen, with beds that are planer and very thin to medium laminate in thickness. There is also cross bedding, which suggests that the depositional environment was one with moving water. It should also be noted that the formation significantly tilted, at roughly a twenty-five to thirty degree angle.
