lot. Pipher's view that in our culture, at a certain age, children no longer have permission to love their parents is bogus. I cannot relate to that in anyway. I am now eighteen years old and I do not remember once not loving my parents. I have loved my parents, still love my parents, and always will love my parents. Although Pipher makes many good arguments in this book, there are also many bad ones.
