When the enlightenment came for Europe, God was set aside because of the changes in outlook of educated people, which affected religious belief. In conclusion it is evident that change can occur rapidly and quickly. This rapid change is called The Paradigm Shift. It was devised in the 1950’s by Thomas Kuhn.
