Tom Brokaw has suggested that those who lived through the Great Depression and World War II made up “The Greatest Generation” to date. I agree, but feel it important to analyze what makes up a Great Generation, to substantiate my opinion. …ability to be greater, by preventing the current situation from rising to the scale of a world war. If the efforts of individuals, groups and the nation as a whole prevents that situation from escalating, history might not record that generation as being “The Greatest”, but it is my opinion that they will have been a “Greater Generation” as it is greater to prevent a catastrophe, than it is to have to deal with one.
