At 1952, Dame Daphne du Maurier wrote a short story named “The Birds”. Maurier was born on 1907 at London, England. The idea for this famous story came to her one day when she was walking across to Menabilly Barton farm from her house. She saw a farmer busily plowing a field whilst above him the seagulls were diving and wheeling. She developed the idea about the birds becoming hostile and attacking him. in the story and the movie. I like both, the story and the movie. When I read the story, I had already watched the movie, and I didn’t expect many contrasts between the story and the movie. However when I finished reading the story, I completely separated story and movie in my mind. For me, the story and the movie are in same genre, but I accept them as completely different plot of story.
