These two stories were very similar. The wives in the stories were strong women who kept themselves together even though their husbands did everything they could to knock them down. However, in the end both women succeeded. In the first story the women died but she still got her point across. In the second story the woman’s husband died instead but I believe that he deserved everything that was given to him
