Robert Frost's "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening," seems to be a casual, ordinary story at first glance. Giving up on life to escape with an easy death would be selfish, for the author would be leaving behind those who love him. He reminds himself that he still has miles to go, much life to live, before he goes to a final resting-place.
