…as one of the lucky, not one of the unfortunate families who could not survive. The other point that stuck out in my mind is the effect the United States has had on Latin America. The book seems only to present a case arguing against the United Stats’ involvement in Latin America. I may be biased but I do not think that the United States has had the negative impact that they say it has.
