During the Revolutionary War, both the British and Americans spent a great deal of effort in an attempt to resolve the conflict in their favor. the fate of America could have been altered. Neither side knew exactly the scope of the conflict they were involving themselves in at the start of the war, and it appears that the British didn’t realize the scale of the war until they had let too many bad decisions block their path to victory. For these reasons, I believe that the British did more to loose the war than the Americans did to win.
