…Reformation, particularly Martin Luther’s, were the foundation of expression of free speech and democracy. The Reformation and its embraced ideas and beliefs showed the world that their lives did not have to be run by a religious leader, and that people had meaning within their lives, not just preparing for the afterlife. If it were not for the Reformation, Counter-Reformation, and the reformers, the world we live in now would be a different place.
