Discrimination comes in many shapes and forms. Age, sex, ethnicity, color, sexual orientation, and social status are a few of the many ways people can be discriminated against. The two major discrimination issues that people are most familiar with are racism and hate crimes.

still so prominent in our culture. It seems as though for every person that helps to stop racism, there are two people that help to keep it alive. In a society that is so opposed to hate, why does it allow racism to spread at this alarming rate?
