Otherwise, when the student has a need for the information in the particular book, he or she will attempt to salvage little bits of information in a most likely futile effort. But if the Board of Education would allow the children to keep their books and write on them, information would be reabsorbed with little effort, and the ultimate goal of the government to educate its people would be achieved.
