used to attempt snapshots of a dynamic event. No one should take them as seriously as the author of the article does. The change in voters probably had nothing to do with party affiliation. It was probably close to some incredibly important event, like George Bush appearing on Opera. Pollsters should still take polls, providing the results and people can just say “ George Gallup should have been a weather forecaster.”
