that the buzzer and the light on the corner went off every time was driven by it after eighth grade football practice. What was once a grand luxury resort is now the crumbling remains of yesterday, occupied by prisoners and personnel of the Navy. Its heyday may be over, but to me the Norconian Hotel and Resort will be remembered as an area of undeveloped land that encompassed every rich and pleasurable in the 1920’s.
