…Knight almost starved herself because she was unsatisfied with the food she had acquired. Rowlandson went through a horrible experience when she had gotten captured, and Knight just over exaggerated her problems and believed that is couldn’t get any worse. Rowlandson and Knight were also Puritans but they practiced their faith in dissimilar ways. Both women’s journals illustrate how human beings can take things for granted and how horrible things can truly get.
