Between the years of 1840 and 1890 America expanded westward. During the expansion, America took up the ideas of the “Manifest Destiny”. …showed last 75 words of 609 total…both show that although there was a great struggle there was still a chance and this gave many people hope, so like the others they traveled westward instead of staying behind.
There were many things that helped to the decision of expanding westwards, and there were also others that didn’t help as much. After all the natural environment appealed to many and didn’t make it a hard decision to get what they wanted.
