In the 60’s, America was filled with racism and segregation. There were two main civil rights leaders for the blacks, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. But in a time of violent actions Malcolm X’s philosophies made the most sense because he encouraged the blacks to fight back against discrimination, build black communities, and segregate schools to give blacks better educations.
