and he made her who she was. She was unhappy and she did something about it. The
women versus the men conflict ends with the women. The men are quick to judge Mrs.
Wright’s lifestyle and housekeeping not keeping in mind how she was treated. The
women decide to with hold the evidence, the bird, so that the imprisoned woman can
have a new life. One that will make her happy.
