…not appear to be very well liked amongst the people who actually know him as a person, otherwise Cassius would not be spouting off bad things about him. My impression of Caesar never changes in the passage. Most of the talking is done by Cassius who does not like Caesar at all. Cassius is quite effective in his talk against Caesar and managed to fully convince me that Caesar is generally not a likeable person
