Jobs and Poverty
Poverty is defined as having a “standard of living below the minimum needed for the maintenance of adequate diet, health, and shelter.” With this definition the answer to ending poverty might seem easy. Just create enough jobs so that people are over the poverty line. If we lived in a simple world that might work, but there are many circumstances that will prove that the theory of just creating jobs will not work.

…showed last 75 words of 817 total…So for now we have to have faith in our government to continue reforming social welfare to benefit the victims of poverty to help them stand up and get out of the position there are in. I do believe people have the capability of getting out of poverty with hard work and assistance. So just because it will never be eliminated as a whole does not mean in can not be eliminated for an individual.
