Hemingway’s brilliance clearly shows through in the way he hid Santiago’s allusions to Jesus. The creativity involved in hiding Jesus as a Santiago’s role model is immeasurable. In conclusion, Santiago truly becomes a Jesus Christ figure when comparing the life of Santiago to the life of Jesus.
