In my eyes, Gone with the Wind was more historically accurate than it was inaccurate. There may not have been a Scarlett O’Hara or a Rhett Butler, but there was Confederacy, William Sherman, a siege of Atlanta, and a Reconstruction. Watching this movie can teach what Southerners went through during the war, something many people do not know about.
