One of the most controversial issues facing the United States today is whether or not homosexual individuals should be granted the rights of adoption. A poll was conducted on the Internet asking the question of whether or not gay individuals should be allowed to adopt. Out of approximately 87,000 people who were surveyed, 49% believed they should be allowed, 50% felt they shouldn’t, and 1% were unsure. …showed last 75 words of 775 total…adoptable. This, like many other issues, has the American people divided. Every point projected by opponents of gay rights has been proven incorrect or invalid. It seems that their issues against gay parents are solely based on stubbornness. After all, this is American where all men are created equal. It doesn’t say that all white, heterosexual, Protestant men are created equal. In this country everyone deserves a chance, especially to be a proud parent.
