Also, his descriptive words set a more dramatic scene and so vividly explain the setting in stories that the good and bad aspects of Ireland must be acknowledged by the reader. Joyce believes that no one has really spoken out about anything but the beauty of his country. But Joyce tackles issues like death, social behavior, illusion, and alcoholism directly. His choice of subjects, tactics, and organization make him a great writer.
