…who tries to skip the pages of text and watch the movie. That would most certainly stand as the most morbid of all Poe tell-tales. However, the movie is, in its own right, an appreciable work of screen art and should not be necessarily criticized for bad directing or photography given the state of film technology at its development and print, but sadly the movie supports Poe’s original work accurately in very few areas.
