…the two characters symbolizes that there are no bonds between them. The technique of no dialogue between the father and the son symbolizes that the communication between Mr. Kane and Charles in non existent. In conclusion, Mr. Kane and Charles Foster Kane did not have any sort of a relationship in this film. Symbolism is the reason why many believe, as I do, that Citizen Kane is one of the best movies of all time.
