The Endangered Species Act (ESA) was created on December 28, 1973, in order to protect animals that were in danger of becoming extinct. Congress passed this Act with the vote of 355-4 in the House of Representatives and 92-0 in the Senate. The passing of the bill will not be beneficial to the Endangered Species Act because it has worked well for over thirty years and in turn has brought back many species from extinction.
