Culture is a broad term that describes customs, traditions, institutions and all other human proceedings together considered as being characteristic of a particular community, people or nation. Things such as media, other neighbouring cultures and time can influence and even change a culture.
There is no single culture found in Canada. Instead there are many cultures each equally important and valued, all united to form this great country. Each separate culture is unique

Canada is a multicultural country; it is the only place where 30 million culturally diverse people can reside and contribute to the cultural mosaic found here. This cultural mosaic consists of pieces of each unique heritage combining to form one great nation. Canada’s ethnic diversity has become an internationally known trademark, and a major feature that attracts immigrants. Multiculturalism allows Canadians to sustain cultural ties but create a unity between citizens.
