…depends on what type of quality the consumer is after and how much they are willing to pay for that quality. One additional factor that could be added would be convenience. Tops and Wegman’s carry a lot of goods besides groceries, such as cosmetics, making it easy to just shop at one store, and not have to travel to many stores. This can make the shopping experience more pleasant and less “stop n’ go.”
